Instant replay for training

What just happened, already on your TV.

EchoLab plays your training space on a delay you choose. Land the throw, walk to the screen, watch it back — then get straight back to it. No filming, no rewinding, no one holding a phone.

Free to start · No account needed · Works with the TV and cameras you already own

How the delay feels

EchoLab keeps a rolling buffer of the action and plays it back a fixed number of seconds behind live — continuously. The moment you want to see is always waiting on screen.

How it works

Up and running in one session

No computer, no wiring, no camera crew. If you can install a TV app, you can set up EchoLab.

Put EchoLab on your TV

Install the free app on a Fire TV or Android TV device — a Fire TV Stick is plenty. Everything runs right on the stick.

Point a camera at the action

Use a Wi-Fi camera you already have, or turn a spare Android phone into one. EchoLab finds cameras on your network and pairs in a click.

Set your delay and train

Pick 10, 20, 30 seconds — whatever fits the drill. Finish the rep, look up, and it's on screen. Adjust the delay live without missing a beat.

Features

Built for the flow of practice

Every feature is designed to be used mid-session, from across the room, without breaking anyone's focus.

Always-on replay

The screen continuously shows the moment from a few seconds ago. Nobody presses record, nobody scrubs a timeline — it's just there.

One-press clips

Saw something worth keeping? One press on the remote saves the clip — with a thumbnail flash so you know you got it.

A library of every save

Clips land in a library grouped by day, filterable by camera. Review them after practice, or pull them up on your phone to share.

Two angles, side by side Pro

Watch the platform and the mirror, or the mat from both corners. Save layouts as named views and open them in two presses.

Slow motion Pro

Drop the replay to half or quarter speed to study footwork, release points, and landings frame by frame.

Made for the couch

The whole app drives with the TV remote — big targets, no keyboard, no pointer. The screen stays awake for the entire session.

Phone as camera

No cameras? Use a phone.

Any spare Android phone becomes a wireless training camera. Open the EchoLab app, tap once, and it shows up on your TV — ready to point at the mat, the platform, or the plate.

  • Pairs from the TV in one click — no cables, no typing addresses
  • Sharp 1080p video over your own Wi-Fi
  • Perfect as a second angle next to a fixed camera

Privacy

Your footage never leaves the room

EchoLab runs entirely on your own devices, over your own Wi-Fi. Video goes from your camera to your TV and nowhere else — it is never uploaded, analyzed, or seen by us.

  • The rolling replay buffer erases itself as it goes
  • Only the clips you deliberately save are kept
  • Works with no internet connection and no account

FAQ

Questions coaches ask

What do I actually need to get started?

Three things: a Fire TV or Android TV device (a Fire TV Stick 4K works great), a camera on the same Wi-Fi, and the free EchoLab app. If you don't have a camera, a spare Android phone does the job.

Which cameras work?

Most popular Wi-Fi and wired IP cameras — brands like Reolink, Amcrest, Annke, Hikvision, and UniFi all work. EchoLab can scan your network and find compatible cameras for you, or you can use a spare Android phone as a camera with no setup at all.

Do I need internet at the gym?

No. Replay runs entirely over your local Wi-Fi — camera to TV, nothing in between. You only need internet briefly if you sign in to unlock a paid plan; after that, EchoLab keeps working even when the connection doesn't.

Is my video uploaded anywhere?

Never. Video stays on your devices, on your network. The rolling replay buffer erases itself continuously, and only the clips you deliberately save are kept. Read the privacy policy for the full picture.

Does it record everything?

No — EchoLab isn't a security recorder. It keeps just enough recent video to play your chosen delay, and that buffer is discarded as it goes. The only footage that persists is a clip you save on purpose.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free gives you the core experience: replay up to 10 seconds behind live, one camera view, and clip saving. Pro extends the delay to 60 seconds and adds side-by-side angles, slow motion, custom clip lengths, and automatic clip cleanup. Club stretches delays to 5 minutes for big facilities.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by your app store, so you cancel there: on Amazon under Your Apps & Subscriptions, or in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.

What sports is it for?

Any sport where seeing yourself immediately changes the next rep: boxing, BJJ, wrestling, gymnastics, weightlifting, basketball shooting form, cheer, dance, golf swings, tennis serves. If it happens in front of a camera, EchoLab can replay it.
